IT'S A GEEK THING..

The Lizzard King turned me on to the "Avant" browser.
It has a couple of cool features. The one I like best is the full screen view it gives of web pages. The nav bar only appears when you move the cursor to the top of the page.
The other cool thing is a translate option under "tools".Pretty useful for translating the many foreign language blogs I run into while clicking the next blog button. It will convert the page to English,or from English to several different languages.....kinda fun..
The pic is my last post in French.

jp-I know,.."Bride"?..'sup with that?
If you download it just go to the "view" option and click full screen.

Hi yellowdog G.-I can attest to the fact that brains aren't a requirement!..
Of course,I have the advantage of being socially inept.

grish-I know people get attached to their favorite browsers.I've been meaning to download Firefox for awhile, but still haven't.I've been using Avant for about a year now and like it a lot better than IE.

What jp said about the bride thing. We must ask Nicole what that's all about.

And also, may I just say, I really like that clock you've got in the sidebar. You're my second to the last daily read (alphabetical order, nothing personal) and I love seeing what time it is when I get to your blog. It's a good reminded to get up off my ass.

Excellent, Julien sent me a web link to his school, but it is in German. Maybe this will help

lorraine-My links are listed in random order, and I check them in random order so I don't hurt anyone's feelings!..is that wierd or what? lol.
I'm laughin' about the clock as well.I have to take my glasses off to see my computer screen, but then I can't see the clock on the wall so I put one in my sidebar so I would know when to get up off my ass....I'm still too young for bi-focals dammitt! ;)

citymouse-It gives kind of a "word for word" translation,so you'll have to deal with some syntax differences. You'll see what I mean.Hope it helps..

I downloaded that firefox and for some reason I couldn't get it to load anything so I think I'll just stick with what I kinda/sorta know.

Bride- it's a rough translation of 'sling'- a strap or harness etc...it's the source of 'bridle', which is much different than 'bridal', though married readers may disagree.

See? I really do have far too much free time at work.
