Some light housekeeping
When I find myself going to "Bookmarks" on a regular basis,I figure it's time to add new links to my sidebar.
Serena Joy over at "Parenthetically Speaking" is a top-notch writer, with an engaging style and wit.
And,if your a dog lover like I am,Jan's "Poodle(and dog)Blog"is a great source of stories,opinion,and information concerning our canine buddies....Check 'em out.
Likewise,I've been wanting to have this tune where I can easily get my hands on it,for those times when I'm in this very mood.
I'm a huge Jim Croce fan.
His madrigal style, and haunting lyrics simply blow me away.
Plus!..My Uncle Bill looked so much like him, that people would seriously stop him in public, and do the "Aren't you Jim Croce?" thing...Have a great week kids!

Thanks so much for the mention, Sling. I'll send you a check.:-)
Love the video. I always liked Jim Croce.
serena J.-Oh,you're quite welcome kid!...and I prefer cash.. ;)
Can't go wrong with the Jimster.
The Jimster? Oh he was so never that. I take it back. I take it all back. In fact, I was never here.
Hat-Too late!..
Jimster?..If Jim were alive today,he'd turn over in his grave.
I have two 33 1/3's of Jim's....still play them. He is eternal. Isn't my girl smart....Hat I mean.
rosemary-I came THIS close to taking it personally when he died.
I was like,WTF??..First Buddy Holly,and now Jim?..It ain't right.
..and Yes!..Hat is a full on genius!..
Oh,..she drinks a little..but still. ;)
I always like getting blog recommendations from bloggers I like.
And who couldn't like Jim Crioce. His voice was so friendly.
hee hee, 'turn over in his grave'...ah that's funny. Sad. But still. And I've given up the ether alcohol. I'm all about detoxification and herbal tea. I quite fancy this 'new fangled' Cannabis Tea that these fine people down from Canadialand are drinking. Something about a type of...what did they say, a weed? Hard to know. What with the language barrier and all. Carry on.
I note the family resemblance.
I love Jim Croce! His was one of the first albums I ever had. (John Denver was the very first -- i know, right? I love me some John, too, though, I must admit.)
and speaking of family resemblance, your new profile showed up in my comments, and for a split second, I thought my Weird Uncle Nils, the athiest hippie genius, bane of my mother's existence, had found my blog. (the "weird" part is a compliment with him, in my book.)
Heyyyyyy that guy kinda looks like you ;)
jim croce was great.
music sure seems to regressed in the past 30 years, it gives me the workin in the car wash blues.
Wow. Jim Croce-dom runs in your gene pool, doesn't it?
It was a surprising relief to read that someone ELSE relies on bookmarks to find their way around the internet. Of course, when they gave us the option, I guess they didn't think we'd use it to establish our own Library of Congress. I arranged it all so cleverly, I can't find shit.
have you heard his son?...he's pretty good...
Yellowdog G. Are you kidding me??
I swear,I had no idea his son was a performer.I gotta see this!
