Music and Moonshine..
In my ever continuing quest to capitalize on the efforts of some few of my favorite bloggers,I offer this little tune.
lorraine has suggested, quite correctly I hasten to add, that very many songs are composed of three chords...C,D,and G.
I love these chords!
In this case, the chord progression is D,C,and G,..with an E minor thrown in as an embellishment.
I don't know the actual names of the chords created by my own hammers-on,slides,and pull-offs.
They come as they will, and change from one day to the next.
..that's for real musicians to describe.

That was lovely!
But next time back the camera up so i can see your pretty face too please..
I loved it. We need to go camping you can play the guitar by the campfire and I will serve beer and sweep dirt.
the strong hands of a carpenter yet the sensitive hands of an artist.
i was right when i guessed renaissance man.
i think i love you...
no...i know i love you...
you rock..
Oh, I like that one a lot!
I like billy pilgrim's comment.
Loved that, Sling! In fact, playing guitar is on my list of highly desirable traits for the man-mate who will surely come swooping into my life one day. Along with being able to cook, being a big dog person, and not snoring. He doesn't have to have a white steed though.
Very Nice! Thanks for playing the guitar for us.
Well done....about the never showing your face (although that was a nice crotch shot at the end)...if you will I will with my accordion on.
Thanks you guys!
Sorry about the crappy camera angle.I have to try and guess where I'm gonna be when I set my camera up.I still haven't got to where I can get myself, and the whole guitar in view.
(takes an axe to "Guitar Hero")
Well my friend, looks like you and I need to have a sit down, music style. How bout I come on that campfire extravaganza with you and Sage eh? I can't bring my piano. Will a squeeze box do?
(snicker snicker)
Rainey- Don't hate me 'cause I'm beautiful.
Hat- Was that naughty?..Yes,I believe that was naughty.
Weren't you/aren't you tempted/aching to add words?! Please tell me yes, those are in the pipeline.
I want to come on the campout too.
I don't play any instruments, but I can help Sage sweet the dirt. Sometimes it's a 2 person job.
I came over from Sageweb feeling a bit blue then hit that play button and..... you can probably see the smile from there...
Billy Pilgrim said it right...
That was beautiful , my friend! It would be lovely to sit around the campfire and listen to you play.
I've always thought that a single chord played on the guitar doesn't sound all that inspirational. But play several in conjunction and you've got some beautiful music happening. I enjoyed listening to that.
Beautiful! Count me in for the campout and hearing more.:)
That was absolutely fantastic!
Booda- I can't sing and play at the same time,so I never even think about lyrics.
BUT!..I do think about fiddles,and mandolins,and squeezeboxes. :)
JP- Well I say you and sage just sweep it under the rug,and we'll all get down to the business of telling scary stories!
willym- It makes me grin that it gave you a grin buddy!..Thanks.
mom- I'm lovin' all this campfire talk.
Some times,I really,really miss Colorado.
serena joy- Elk steaks, red wine, cheap brown liquor, and good friends gathered about a communal fire...
That's the good life right there!
Grish- mom paid you to say that right?..
Thanks my friend. ;)
thank you
mouse- yer welcome.
i am so buying tickets to the world tour when you, hat and lorraine put something together.
danny-Better yet, lock in the cheap brown liquor concession!..
Hell,I'll make you rich!
you got it! cheap brown liquor concessions that we turn into a world-wide franchise. it'll be bigger than having starbucks coffee at macdonald's restaurants.
Neil Young felt Helpless in the presence of those chords.
Soooo good Sling.... and I'm with some of the others, you have good looking hands... knowing what you do for a trade and what you do for enjoyment (music) your hands look lived in... thats a good thing.
Bet old George Dubya had horrible pukey slug like hands...
I can still see my dad's hands in my mind's eye and he was killed in 1969...they were good hands... might do a post about hands... HM
I was sold on the guitar and banjo after seeing Deliverance... could listen to music like this till the cows come home.
