Music and Moonshine..

In my ever continuing quest to capitalize on the efforts of some few of my favorite bloggers,I offer this little tune.
lorraine has suggested, quite correctly I hasten to add, that very many songs are composed of three chords...C,D,and G.

I love these chords!

In this case, the chord progression is D,C,and G,..with an E minor thrown in as an embellishment.

I don't know the actual names of the chords created by my own hammers-on,slides,and pull-offs.
They come as they will, and change from one day to the next.
..that's for real musicians to describe.

I like billy pilgrim's comment.

Loved that, Sling! In fact, playing guitar is on my list of highly desirable traits for the man-mate who will surely come swooping into my life one day. Along with being able to cook, being a big dog person, and not snoring. He doesn't have to have a white steed though.

Sorry about the crappy camera angle.I have to try and guess where I'm gonna be when I set my camera up.I still haven't got to where I can get myself, and the whole guitar in view.

I want to come on the campout too.

I don't play any instruments, but I can help Sage sweet the dirt. Sometimes it's a 2 person job.

I came over from Sageweb feeling a bit blue then hit that play button and..... you can probably see the smile from there...

Billy Pilgrim said it right...

That was beautiful , my friend! It would be lovely to sit around the campfire and listen to you play.

I've always thought that a single chord played on the guitar doesn't sound all that inspirational. But play several in conjunction and you've got some beautiful music happening. I enjoyed listening to that.

Beautiful! Count me in for the campout and hearing more.:)

Booda- I can't sing and play at the same time,so I never even think about lyrics.
BUT!..I do think about fiddles,and mandolins,and squeezeboxes. :)

JP- Well I say you and sage just sweep it under the rug,and we'll all get down to the business of telling scary stories!

willym- It makes me grin that it gave you a grin buddy!..Thanks.

mom- I'm lovin' all this campfire talk.
Some times,I really,really miss Colorado.

Soooo good Sling.... and I'm with some of the others, you have good looking hands... knowing what you do for a trade and what you do for enjoyment (music) your hands look lived in... thats a good thing.

Bet old George Dubya had horrible pukey slug like hands...

I can still see my dad's hands in my mind's eye and he was killed in 1969...they were good hands... might do a post about hands... HM

I was sold on the guitar and banjo after seeing Deliverance... could listen to music like this till the cows come home.
