WORK IN PROGRESS...

Well I've "upgraded" my template in blogger beta and I'm not 100% satisfied.
It's difficult to find complimentary colors, and I can't put my clock and moon phase in until "Raw Editing" is available..Blogger assures me that it's coming soon, but the bastards could have mentioned it a hell of a lot sooner,as template substitution is irreversible.
These old eyes need contrast, but if anyone finds these colors to be truly offensive,PLEASE feel free to say so in a diplomatic fashion.
FOR EXAMPLE:

Sling,..dude,...your blog looks like total shit...

...along with any suggestions you may have...
grish-...The sidebar is fully "drop and drag"..I've kept them in their usual order, but they can be placed in any sequence you choose. All of the colors and fonts are customizable.

I REALLY miss my clock...

EDIT: Oh yeah,...The red font in my last post,..DAMM!..It even hurts my eyes..

I was sort of scared of switching when I read that it was un-reversable and I didn't want to lose my template. I still haven't decided to change yet but some of the new 'improved' stuff sounds interesting...

There are still more options I haven't played with yet.So far,the changes I've made are very user friendly, and easy to implement.

what can i say..someone who uses black background and yellow print...although i do agree, the print could be a tad larger...so i dont go blind reading ya...white on black..hurts my eyes...and im starting to get double vision...other than that ..it's just fine...

Lookin' good. Maybe put a bearskin rug under the banner, a few tasteful nudes in the margins, just to give it that extra something.

I can't find the coffee machine but otherwise it is all yummy. And all that template manipulation hooha you and the other guys do? You're blogger gods. I'm just happy when I remember how to add a link.

Another thing, what exactly is with the secured/unsecured screen? I mean, what purpose does it serve within the context of a blog? Just wondering.

It does look awful. All fecal hues and such...I'm going to start running off my blog on the office copier and nailing it to lamp posts if this is the future of blog...actually it's hard to tell on the (semi-protected) IE at work- it screws up all the formats anyway.

Damm!...Buttloads o' comments.
Thanx for the input kids.

lorraine-I'm not sure what that security thing does exactly.I know you get the same result whether you press "yes" or "no"..

yellowdog G.-Is your browser sending out spam,or your e-mail?..I'm not sure I understand what's really going on 'cause I've never encountered that type of thing.
I mentioned a while back that I use the "Avant" browser, and don't seem to encounter as many problems as I was with Internet Explorer.
I really don't have a "place to go" for problems,I usually just hammer away at different solutions 'till things work properly.

anyway...
I've toned down the colors and such on my template.still,I like to experiment and see "What's this button for?" :)
