Katz

Hey!..I used to work for a guy named Stan Katz!
He got scratched by a cat one day,and died...No shit.

But this isn't about Stan.
It's about a new addition to the homestead.
This handsome fellow has deigned to adopt us!
..He's friendly,and well mannered,so it's fine with me.
Still,he needs to be accepted by the two indigenous felines.
Gizzy is fine with anything that doesn't interrupt her nap..

...and Drooly is so happy,he could squirt!

Okay,it's Wednesday,and I got nothin'..
New Cat needs a name.

Was there like some time period between the cat scratch and death or did it all really happen in a day? Was this the devil spawn cat?

My cat's name is Taco Meat. We had to shorten it to Taki so we wouldn't get in trouble with animal control. But Taco Meat got some great reactions.

jan- a short period of time passed between the scratch, the infection, and subsequent heart failure..No doubt there was a pre-existing condition, but the irony is,frankly, too good to pass up.(I'm going to hell,I know).
Lovin' Taco Meat by the way. ;)

Citizen- He showed up one day all,'I'm livin' here now..What time's dinner?'..
What's not to love?

Oh,, you know how I love kitties....just love them. I think a good Italian name like Manny, or Spot, or Jim, Curly, Meep, King James, Arthur, Back Door, Burbank, I could go on and on you know.

Do you think it's right to take a post AND my ever-predictable comment too?

Illustration: I was all happy and poised to write 'name?' etc etc until I scrolled down.

Just saying. (I'm going to have to wean myself off that one. I'm hardly EVER just saying. In fact, the only thing I'm just saying is, well, you know.)

Nice kitty.

I am thinking his name should be Mooch, Moocher, Moochie, something along those lines. He's a good looking kitty.

Poor Stan! Cat scratch fever? Yikes.

Those are some cute kitties. I can't think of a good name for the new one right off the top of my head, but he looks sweet and well mannered. I hope the other two don't give him too hard a time.:)

"George, I will call him George. And I will pet him and cuddle him"... no sorry that's a bunny he's talking about in that old WB cartoon.

Got nothing here but he looks like a fine gentleman.

Oh, those pics! Three personalities there, for sure! You could name him Stan. You know, in memory of.

We had a female tabby cat named Fido. It was great.

We had another cat, male, named David Lady. He was named after the Command Sergeant Major of Armed Forces Europe, who used to do these "commercial" spots on the military TV station. He always signed off by saying, "This is Command Sergeant Major David Lady ... on point ... for the nation," with a very serious look on his face.

I guess you had to be there.

Is Drooly a cyclops? I have--lost his eye while on the streets as an infant, now he's eternlly winking at the world as if eveything is a put on.
