We hold these truths to be self evident..

You know,it's long been acknowledged as a matter of course, that Friday the 13th is an unlucky day.
One of those universally accepted theories that pass, without question, from the intellectuals on high,to the lowly serfs dwelling in the valley below,in an effort to bring some measure of certainty to their very uncertain existence.
Other fundamental tenets of well informed doctrine include;

'The world is flat'.
'Man will never fly'..
'Thar be Dragons here!'

Okay,Right off the top,..we may now revel in the sure and certain knowledge that two of the above examples simply are not true!
In light of this, allow me to offer an opposing view to the whole Friday the 13th mystique.

This very thirteenth of June fell on a Friday, and I found myself clean up to my cynical heart in beautiful women!

Lorraine:.. 'I thought you said we were going to visit Booda Baby?'..
Auld Hat:.. 'I smell pie!'.
When in doubt,go with the classics.

Here's the last piece of Rainey's world famous applesauce cake!
I accidentally forgot to save it for Sage...*burp!*.

I finally got my copy of Unbound Press autographed by the author of 'Will write for food'.

Three pearls rare,and wonderful.

Cheetos and Champagn-ya!
..'I wonder what the poor folks are doin'?'..
Auld Hat making the flowers jealous.

On a decidedly more,'WTF!!' note,..blogger is being a huge butt, and not allowing me to upload the other FULL DOZEN!! pix I have ready to share.
..No matter.
I think the following video pretty much says it all.

Yah, I thought they were coming to see me, too, ... too. (Can I do that? Is there some anti-excessiveness rule around here?) ANYWAY. Yes, yes, I'm very glad you got them, yah yah yah. But what about MEMEMEMEMEMEME? What? We have Cheetos down here.

They look so wonderful, I want to dance on their heads.

I'm sorry. I've been showing my affection violently this week. I'll try to do better next time.

booda babe- We have no anti-excessiveness rule here.
Excessivenes is encouraged!
Plus!..They are even more wonderful than you might imagine!
You haven't lived until you've heard Rainey and Hat do their repertoire of accents in real life.
Solid gold! :)

serena joy- 'Bevy'??.. I'm pretty sure the correct designation is a 'Giggle' of girls. ;)
Either way,I number them among my blessings.

Wow how great to meet bloggers buddies and share with us. This is so way cool! I still need to get up North and meet Rosemary...only 30 miles and a few pines and prairies do we live apart, yet it seems like mountains. Hey, so Unbound Press finally published? Great? How is Amy and Charlie?
Thanks Sling!

proof that blogging can be a productive pastime.

i think friday the 13th is fraught with danger and all employees should be given the day off with pay to protect their loved ones.

Doralong- Silly girl...Everyone knows you don't take pictures of your trophies until they have been properly stuffed, and mounted.

citizen- True story.I met Lizzard King's mom on Friday the 13th nearly 25 years ago!
You meet the nicest folks on that day. :)

CS- I highly reccomend making the effort to meet those people you've come to know so well through their blogs.
You know,Amy and Charlie just sorta dropped off the radar quite a while back.As far as I know, there was only one edition of unbound press.

billy P.- Hey!..I really did get the day off with pay!
I asked the K's if I could be sick that day because I had friends visiting, and they graciously agreed...I love those guys.

kimberly ann- I think we can stand the whole Friday the 13th stigma on it's head, and lobby for it to be a nationally recognized day of good fortune!..We'll need a Hallmark card,of course.

lostinco- I'm totally lucky!..Must be the Irish in me.

Mouse-I got 'em to ya as quick as I could doll.
I'm pretty sure O-Town has an ordinance against more than 3 bloggers congregating at one time. :P

*note to self;
I really have to stop doing that.

willym- I have it on good authority that Hat has posted some pix of me..

Looks you're replete with wine, women, and song! Usually one tries to keep the wine off of the women's feet, but whatever.

The pictures are lovely, so glad you're the sharing sort. Teen Demon just graduated on Friday the 13th, so it was a good day for us as well.
