The Cat Days of Summer..
I've been a little irritable of late,what with the smoke,and oppressive heat we've been experiencing.
There just seems to be a general feeling if malaise permeating the household.
It occurred to Lizzard King that if we are feeling the blues, our good friend Gizmo must be really miserable trying to keep cool,under the circumstances.
So he carted her off,lickity-split to the groomer for a more Summer friendly makeover.
Here's Gizzy,sporting her brand spankin' new 'Lion Cut!'..
Surely,she'll be better able to enjoy her Summer activities,having been shed of several pounds of excess body hair.
Look!..Even now,with new found enthusiasm, she is about to leap into cool and confident action!
Will she stalk a pesky rodent?
Pounce on an unwary 'jay?..
Scurry after the proffered ball o' twine???

Runway ready! Ahh, the sleek bikini look, just in time for the lounging and lulling around.
Now Sling, where is O'Town located? Are you guys that close to the fires? We get snippets up here on the local news but not much. I remember the fire storms in San Diego---we were in the 1st one. Couldn't see across the street...couldn't breathe.
We are experiencing super high winds today. Must be coming up the west coast. Stay cool...do the rain dance..go get a shave like Giz! :^)

Ohmygosh, I laughed and laughed and LAUGHED. She looks like a doped up kitty.
Our kitty's pretty lethargic, too, so I brush her and pick her up and hang her in front of the refrigerator and so far, she doesn't think she appreciates it. Not at all.

CS- O-Town is located in the valley,where all the smoke from the wildfires settles under the curent meteorological conditions..
We got none of the fire,..and all the smoke.

And razor sharp claws that'll peel the skin off a coconut..if she gets irritated.

Okay that second picture she's either said: Peel me a grape Beulah! or get "Get that f....g camera out of my face!" Either way it obviously took all her energy to say whichever.
This is one reason cats will soon rule the world if they don't already.
