Update..

"HOLY SHIT!"...as God as my witness, that's an exact quote from the Doc when he saw my wound, which of course, had become infected.
After a few shots of anesthetic, some deft and painless scalpel work, and a nice bandage,I was outta there.
1 antibiotic tablet twice a day for two weeks.Vicadin for pain.

I really need to give props to Dr. H for making me feel at ease, and for that whole painless thing...You ROCK Doc!!

But I'll tell ya who rocks more!..YOU GUYS!
Each and every one of you that stopped by with your kindness, and well wishes...A blessing on your houses.. :)

We now return to our regularly scheduled program.

I made the mistake of thinking it would get better on it's own,and did indeed wait too long.Stubborn fool that I am.Never too old to learn I guess. ;)

Charlotte's Web is a sick, sick fantasy. Just sayin'.

I grew up in New Mexico, and literally crawled through black widow lairs as a kid. I can only assume the smell of the Pepsi coursing through my veins repelled them.

I'm so glad that you're all cleaned up and properly dosed. Will there be a scar? A creepy spider scar?

Didn't your blog used to ask:
"Does this look infected to you?"
in the sub-title?

Glad it's working out.

i DETEST spiders. absolutely scare the shit out of me. i've cornered them and chased them all through my house, but inable to get close enought to kill them. used to have a dog that would do that for me. instead of stomping on them or grabbing them with a tissue like most, i throw things, spray things, and scream for someone to come to muy rescue. mmmm vicadin.
