There's a party goin' on 'round here..

Yep,..it's a Red Letter Day here in O-Town.
The whole community has gathered together in the rain to celebrate the occasion of the Mayor's 34 year old daughter finally losing her virginity!
Not surprising really,..what with all these soldiers milling about of late...Happy Veteran's Day,and thank you to all the men and women who have served us so well..

we had our annual veterans day parade here...always a big deal and a big turn out...if we wanted to show respect to the soldiers..we would bring them home...

Yellowdog G.-That's all they really want after all.You and I have been around long enough to remember the way our vets were received after Viet Nam.Not entirely with the respect they had earned.

Good luck to the Mayor's ex virgin daughter...

We'd like our Australian soldiers home from the Invasion of Iraq by the US, Great Britain (whats great about it these days?) Australia whose lickspittle leaders would bend over backwards to whoever wields the biggest stick, no matter what we the people think etc etc etc...

So lets get all the sons and daughters home so they can have ex virgin celebrations too...

and lets hope that the Iraq victims forgive us when the side effects of all that depleted uraniium wear out in about 30,000 years or so...

babs-Hear,hear...and thanx for the heads up on JS's B-day.I'll go give her a hard time. ;)

lorraine- (sigh)...I know..Thanx for not calling me a dork.I get that a lot.

middle child-I found your comment interesting in that,in the U.S,Aussies aren't considered the type of people that would "bend over".Quite the opposite in fact.Generally,We have a great respect for the character and resolve of Australians.Just thought I'd pass that on..
We frequently believe that the U.S does wield it's "big stick" with a little too much enthusiasm.

grish-Then you'd love it here!..This town will throw a parade at the drop of a hat. :)

dan- You didn't get yer invite??
Sorry bro.
Consider this your invitation to our 33rd annual "Hell's Angels picnic and gang bang" coming this Summer!

ruby rocks-We've been tryin' to get that woman laid for years...Nobody wanted to step up..

Hold onto something Slingman, the Blogger of Christmas Past has returned! First I made you Lemonade, then we had some serious Quafee Tawk...and then my secret identity was exposed and I had to lay low for a while until the C.I.A. could agree on which version of Angela they preferred. Sigh. You've been lost without me, I know.

evangeline-WOOHOOO!!...I knew we'd hear from you again.Yes...Yes I was lost without you..but now I'm found!

Australian people do not bend over easily but like most we have the biggest weakest bunch of lickspitles running the joint... its too sad...and the opposition is just as bad...so who do you vote for?

middlechild-In every election, there is one candidate that can't possibly win. They are not subscribers to mainstream politics, nor members of the "good ol' boy club"..
Vote for him/her rather than not voting at all.Think of it as voting "against" the other candidates.
