Well, I agree that the teacher should've definitely been up on the customs of her host country. And I've been trying to tell myself that my judgements are not from withing their belief system or culture, so I can't really understand, BUT ....... come on, some common sense here, people. I understand that it was offensive to them, and I understand she should've been more informed, but lashings, imprisonment or even execution? WTF?
This is going to polarize folks more than they already are. Great. Just what the world needs. More fanaticism, please!
