Friday Jukebox Video..
Whenever The Lizzard King and I go to "The big City" to stock up on all the stuff we can't get here in O-Town,..like,things manufactured in this century,he usually plays one CD in particular that has one song I've always liked..
I never knew who sang it,because I don't have the patience to bother remembering anyway.
Still,..I got into the habit of asking him to ,"Play that song by that guy"..
Tonight,in honor of FJV,I asked him,"What's the name of that song by that guy?"..
Turns out,and as everyone in the Western Hemisphere but me probably already knows,it's the love theme song from a popular television show...
I pretty much like everything about this song.The guitar,the voice,and especially the tag line,"..and I don't know why,I can't keep my eyes off of you".
..I like remembering having felt like that.

Like this song, heard it 100 thousand billion dozen times but didn't know what it was called or who sang it till today.

Never saw the show. This is first time I remember hearing the song. Like it.I think Lighthouse is a better name for a band.

Hat- Okay..I asked LK the name of the band,and I'm sure he said Lighthouse.When I typed it into YouTube search these guys came up!..So you see,it's not me that's stupid..it's the internet.
I've heard this song many, many times...never knew the name of it or the name of the band and I sure as heck didn't know it was the theme song for Smallville. But now don't I feel educated? lol I really do like this song, though. Now it's stuck in my head and I'll have to look for the CD the next time I'm at the store. If I can remember the name. Of it OR the band. lol
There are a few songs on the CD I liked,but this was my favorite.

Catchy little ditty. I can add Smallville to the list of shows I've never seen (90210, Melrose Place, Bachelor, Temptation whatever, Angel, Charmed, Sopranos, Lost, and even Gilmore Girls - sorry Lorraine.) Yes, I do spend my time watching the History channel. I know..don't say it.
Smallville obviously wasn't included on my rabbit-ears-only package, but I probably wouldn't have watched it anyway. It's got waaaaay too many beautiful people. Of course, if one believes JP and I do, so does Omaha.
One day, you might be saying "Hey. Play that song by that guy that's the theme song of Omaha." Well, maybe you might.

anyway..Mostly I leave the TV on History channel,Science Channel,Discovery channel,and Deal or no Deal.
booda baby- I tried driving through Omaha one time..They made me go around.
Not a Smallville fan...and can't recal hearing this song...its beautiful as per usual... must be an age thing or just that we all like good stuff no matter the age. Our girls love our music but then I inflicted it on them from the first time I had a car cassette player...they learned to like Celtic and Mozart, and Mick Jagger all at once...Creedance...because good music is good.

never struck a cord with me..but don't watch the show that much..or if all..
but would love to know the name of the song/words/singer to the theme music to saving grace on tnt...love that song..
