Dear Diary

Here it is Tuesday, and I don't really have much to blog about.

But I know that if I don't post something, the porn bots will steal my blog, and I'm concerned that my readers won't notice the difference..

I have been keeping tabs on the Olympics, enjoying the successes of Misty and Kerri,as well as that phenomenal Mr. Bolt from Jamaica...No kidding...This guy practically walks to the finish line, and still sets a world record!
And of course, young Mr. Phelps is standing the world of swimming on edge with his unprecedented 938 gold medals...can you say 'endorsements'?..

I'm Still not working 40 hours a week, but things have picked up to the point where I'm damm close!
Close enough so that I don't mind a few extra hours of free time to kick it in the air conditioned comfort of the homestead.
Plus!..I'll be on my regularly scheduled paid vacation come the 27th!

I have no travel plans, but for seven glorious days I'll be basking in the glory of decadent slothery, staying up way past bedtime, and rising when I damm well feel like it..You know,..The good life.

On a somewhat more worrisome note,Drooley the cat came home a couple of days ago, lookin' like he came in third in a axe fight.
..Totally singin' the blues.
We made him comfortable, and ministered to him as best we could with the intention of getting him to the vet,but he has wandered off to god knows where to either heal,..or not.
Hopefully he'll come mewlin' about soon.

***Bonus Random Snaps***

The cat with no name takes exception to my flagrant disregard of his presence by editing my blog.
..that rat bastard 'spellcheck' has agreed with his corrections.

I'm told this little beauty goes by the common name,'Crucifix Plant'..
MOLK has nurtured this specimen, and produced a respectable representation of the species.

These pics have been squirreled away in the abyss that is the memory of my camera, waiting to reprieve me from that day when I got nothin'..
That would be today.

And you said you having nothing to give us!!!!!!

No name pics, an incredibly beautiful flower and your - how be it corrected by a cat - prose. What's it going to be when you have something to give us.

Okay now I'm worrying about the stray Siamese in our parking lot and Drooley!

Drooley probably found out from the cat information board (yes, there is one) what happens to cats who stick around long enough to get taken to the vet. Fighting is more fun than celibacy.

he's probably going to stay gone till you change his name to something manly, like champ or asskicker or something..
haven't the olympics been terrific..although i still dont' get water polo and badmitten looks pretty silly..
i told my boss fuckyou today, maybe he'll fire me and i can just stay home and watch the olympics

The flower looks suspiciously like a Passion Flower.

Sorry to hear about Drooley. We used to have a tomcat like that when I was a kid. He once got attacked by a Doberman. My mom went over to complain to the dogs owner and then she got a look at the dog.

I'm still routing for Rhubarb as a name for no name cat. He must be bringing you luck if he is correcting the spelling.

danny- He's a lot of fun!..still got that kitty mischief thing goin' on.

Lost- I'd like to see him open his own can of food..Now that would impress me. ;)

sage- Shortly after I posted this,Drooley came home!
He still doesn't feel like eating.
Then last night he wanted to go out again, and we haven't seen him since.
Personally,I think he's doing his cat-self-healing thing.

anonymous- No!..you are not banned.
I have never banned anyone from my blog, and am hard pressed to imagine a circumstance where I would.
I like for people to be able to come here,be themselves, and speak their mind.
Having said that,I wouldn't put up with anyone that was clearly being abusive just for the joy of it,but that has never happened.
I guess from your question you must be having a problem commenting under your screen name??..I just don't know.

willym- You are too kind my friend...but thank you! :)

jan- Oh,Drools has been celibate for quite a few years.
Is there really a cat information board?..really??..don't tease me.

yellerdawg- Funny you should mention badminton!..We were just mocking that at work yesterday.
We decided that Bull riding should be an Olympic sport!

evil G.- I think Passion Flower seems like a more logical name for it,but who am I to question?..
I like Rhubarb for a name.I'll keep dropping hints to MOLK.

i've been through the desert on a cat with no name, it felt good to be out of the rain

billy P.- Only some one of the lowest moral character would interpret that comment as someting dirty!..so here goes.

Riding pussy across the desert can be tricky.
I mean,..how did you get her to hold the bit in her mouth?

..I love this job.

I am loving the Olympics. Michael Phelps is beautiful.
How much do you pay that cat for editing your writing?

Just name him Cat and be done with it.

Props to the venerated Mom of the LK! Lovely job!

Glad your enjoying your bit of down time dear!

Congrats on your upcoming vacation! I'm jealous--even though I just got back from my vacation. :)

And the best of wishes for Drooley the cat to come back, safe and sound.

Oh, geez, I hope Drooley is ok. And I think Scully looks very cute by the keyboard. I'm calling him Scully because No Name is not working for me and you people are too busy growing beautiful flowers and watching the Olympics and eating enchiladas to name the poor little thing.

Does he still climb on the screen door?

hopefully Drooley is OK.....cat's are independent that way....vets and all. I wish I had syntaxcat check on my computer. I have deletecat on mine.

Best wishes for Drooley's return to home and health. I think Cats have a secret life on another planet far away, and just deign tio visit us when they need to slum it... he's probably on his way back from the planet Caturn right now...so keep that can opener handy human.

I have an awful feeling that that beautiful plant is a feral weed down under if it is indeed a passion flower as evilgnome suggests...but then greens call the cat feral down here and cats are lovely creatures.

mom- you really think he's good lookin'?..He'll be featured on your frosted flakes pretty soon.

MHP-as of this moment,we haven't seen him for 2 days!..still hopefu though.

Rainey- I think it'll be okay for you to call him scully.
I'm secretly calling him Cap'n Jack. :)

Rosie- Oh,if only deletecat actually worked.

middle child- MOLK says she thinks that passion flower is probably the actual name..works for me. :)

Quite fabulous species...look at your guitar thumb! Can you bend it all the way back too? :^)

Kitty kitty kitty...do you have your own blog?

Oooh. This is kind of like having TiVo, all these pictures here for me, held on pause from TUESDAY. (I don't have TiVo, have only seen it in action once, so I don't know what the hell I'm doing referencing it.)

The pix are perfect and were very entertaining and that little no named kitty is so cute I want to pinch his little paws.

Enjoy the Vacay - I refuse to say "stay-cation". I hope the cat mends and moseys on home (I like the visual of a cat that moseys).

Cool flower.
