Turn around..

Now here's a young man I haven't seen in far too long!..

The last time I saw young master Mark,he was just a toddlin' lad.
Six years old, with striking blue eyes, and a curiosity that knew no bounds.
He and I fell out of touch,in that inexplicable way in which circumstances alter cases.
..That's all on me,of course,for what's a mere boy to do?

Well, don'cha know that friends times friends on Facebook, and we reconnected just 4 days ago!

Mark turned seventeen in March.
He's on the Varsity swim team, and the Varsity water polo team.
His immediate goals are to graduate from college, and join the Peace Corps.

Mark is my son..

I never told you that story?
..I'll have to rectify that.

Laurent- I got a kick outta the T-shirt as well!
I get the sense he has that 60's spirit.
The cat's name is Merlin.

Looking forward to the story but the wonderful thing is the reconnection. Much to catch up on and much to learn - for both.

I believe it was the great Betty White he declared that Facebook was a catastrophic waste of time, and I was prone to believe her, because she's Betty White.

In this case, Betty was wrong.

That is just so good - and he plays the guitar as well...and seems to like cats...just like you! Its so wonderful and you must be so pleased to see how he has turned out...You must have wondered as the years passed how he was and all of that - and here he is looking just fine. Thank you for the happy news

Jeeesh. It's almost an album cover picture!

I'm joining the chorus of reunion lovers. This is just sweetness. Is he nearby? Farby?

I also am mightily impressed by your delivery. That was tight!! Well done.

You all must know how happy I am over this!..I suppose I'll elaborate here,as communication between he and I unfolds.
This is as it should be.
He's down in SoCal right now,but will be going to Colorado for the Summer..That's where he was born.
