I love seeing this dude's work...luckily my dad and JS keep me up to date with him.

I dunno, if I was the "town" that he was doing these in I'd wanna put a protective coat over them and keep them for a long mother-arsed time.

Heh can you imagine any of these outside a pub. Poor drunks...heehee.

Apos- I hear what your sayin' about preserving them, but there is something especially appealing in the transient nature of sidewalk art.I've seen beutiful sidewalk works in Germany, that were washed away in the evening rain.Like sunsets and sand castles, the feeling stays with you long after they're gone.

I knew a chimney sweep once who did stuff like that. Once, my nanny and I jumped through one of those pictures and had tea served by penguins and rode a carousel and had a supercalifragilistic day but then it rained and everything got frakked up and we had to go back home and my dad, the banker, was there being a blowhard to my mom the sufferegette. It sucked.

A friend sent me some of this stuff recently...it is amazing. I loved one I saw where the people walked around what appeared to be a hole in the cement footpath... : )

His work is always cropping up over here. Yes, one hell of a talented guy although I'd never seen that fly painting before. Awesome.
