I know I'm prone to hyperbole,but..
..there aren't enough adjectives to describe the Discovery Channel's 11 part series,Planet Earth.
I see those of you that have been watching it nodding your heads.
To those of you that may be unable to enjoy this amazing Sunday treat,..my condolences..
They have the most wonderful toys!
Cameras and equipment that have never been used before to capture rarely, and NEVER before seen footage of remote locations, and animal behaviors.
As an added bonus!..It's narrated by the sultry-voiced Ms. Sigourney Weaver...This is must-see TV!
What a wonderful world,eh Louis?

lorraine- Once again, you have chrystallized my thoughts eloquently..:)
Such beautiful pictures!
Hi orhan kahn!-The whole series is total eye candy. :)
siguorney weaver sure is a handsome woman. i just love her.
I just had to start off with Monica's comment. SHE is a handsome woman. Handsome attribute to a woman is lovely to me. Very few women can be categorized properly as handsome.
Cry for me, Sling.
We do not get the Discovery Channel but I am sure I will enjoy it rented from Netflix. I grew up with PBS and nature shows. The beauty of nature even on the screen takes your breathe away.
Hope your well
monica-she really IS handsome isn't she.
..and smart.Smart is sexy!
danielle-I am well,thanks for asking. :)
You will not be disappointed when you do get to seeit.there's simply never been anything like it.
I think I have seen some of these...[the penguins look familiar...haha] but I can never remember when the series is on...I figure when I hit there we will have cable or whatever it is.
YESSSSSSSSS I watched that one too! Though I'm scared shitless of animals, I still can't help but be awed by these creatures that God has created to roam the earth. So vibrant and so universal...
I should be getting a disk soon in the mail.
I always wish you well, sweets. You and your stache are near and dear to me.
Finally got the satellite folks scheudled to come out this weekend and bring me some TV. I have been seriously missing the Discovery Channel and National Geographic. And I want my Daily Show!
but I cried when the polar bear died...
