I'll tell ya how old I am,but it'll take both hands now...

Little Newt has successfully circumnavigated the Sun SIX times!

No small feat for a lad in this day and age,I assure you.

In honor of this most auspicious occasion,Lizzard King hosted a celebration over at the park, directly across from the homestead.

The centerpiece of the festivities, was this terrific 'Cars' bounce house!

What you don't see in the pic below,is all of the adults standing around, awaiting their turn.

..all the really cool kids were there.
The open bar was a popular attraction!

Lizzard King supervises the cotton candy production..
..and Aunt Christine,Josh, and Little Newt are responsible for quality control.

When you've got a bounce house babysitter, things can get a little more relaxed.

Okay,..We're talkin' chock full o' strawberry and cream filling ambrosia!

Now that he's come of age,Little Newt prefers to be called 'Marshal'..
Tuff,..He's Little Newt to me.

Awesome!..We were all able to consume our maximum recommended lifetime requirements of sugar in one sitting!..follows,the bonanza!

The weather was perfect, the company genial, and the party a resounding success..

It's Monday,and life is all frosted-cotton candy-bounce houses in Sling's Domain..
Have a great week kids!

It was a most pleasant day indeed!
Newt and I are merely related by the specific combination of the X and Y chromosomes.
..one of each.
Still,I like to think that I might have some influence on his perception of what it is to be a Man...
Lizzard King is already doing a fine job! :)

I think you should request the same kind of party for your next one. Age has some privileges.

Not sure which is bigger the grin on Marshall's face as he looks at all those goodies or mine when I look at all these pictures. He is one lucky boy - looks like LK and Co are doing a great job.

Wait. I can't type when I still bouncing inside.

What a GREAT party! Who was in charge of the superb overindulgence and can they come stay here? Cotton candy AND a cake. The mind reels.

Kind of, the stomach, too, when you/I imagine it all working together in the bouncey castle-car.

My older son (19) went to an 18th party- they had a bouncy castle. The kid’s dad was a well-known doctor in the town so all the other doctors were invited too. After much booza (as you do at an 18th over here) and bouncing the kids had to drive the doctors back home. Daniel had to push our family dr. into a hatchback- he was pretty boozed up lol. A bit of role reversal for the day but the cause of much hilarity.
Happy Birthday to Little Newt!! My youngest son just turned 6 too- a wonderful age :)
GREAT PICS SLING!!

I think that I could have a lot of fun in a bounce house.

And I did not even mean that in a dirty way.
